Im panicking! look around 2 days ago i had brown discharge only a little of it, then yesterday when i wiped there was blood and brown discharge but it only appeared when i wiped! so i didnt but anything in cause it was not going on my underwear and i also had cramps. then today it stopped and i dont know what is going on HELP! btw im 13

congrats to all the girls who have just gotten brown discharge. This means you've gotten your first period and are being a woman! As most of you I wanted my period so bad, then just a few weeks ago I had the worst stomach ache of my life! That night I went to the bathroom and there was brown discharge, I didn't know what it was at first but my mom said it was my first period. After a few days I thought my period would look red and be blood like, but it wasn't and I was confused and thought that maybe it wasn't! But, it was. A month or two later another period came and it was like all the rest. I hope this helps!

Hi I am 13 years old and have small breast they are just developing and I have had discharge for a little over a year. And over the past 3 days I noticed dark brown stuff in my underwear. What is going on did I get my period? I also have had some craps or stomach acid too. But could it be poop getting into my underwear? I noticed this again today so I changed my underwear and left them on for about and hour and a half and the brown stuff came back!

So I'm 13, I think I'm basically finished growing as I haven't grown since xmas (I've already had about 2 big growth spurts) last night I went to the toilet and noticed loads of red and brown stuff in my underwear, panicked and searched the web all today but couldn't find anything. I told my mum and she said its my first period but today there was basically nothing but some very very transparent like brownish thingy I couldn't see very clearly because the pad had a dark thingy in the centre and the stuff was on it. I naturally assumed maybe I had scratched myself somehow but then today the cramps started! My sister and mum both get really, really bad cramps and I've literally been curled up for the past half hour. I'm pretty irritable and have next to no patience please please can someone help me? I'm really scared and have no idea what's happening to me....

Its Normal! Right now its happening to me and its my first period! Thats brown was your light first period. it usually takes 5 days to a week!

I've had clear discharge for about a year- not too sure- but today it was yellow then later in the day it was light brown. I'm not sure what's happening but my mum started her period in p7 so maybe mine will too?
