I just got on the pill (yazmin) how long does it take to start working? I am also wondering if i can have unprotected sex under the pill and not get pregnant?

7 days, but if you start taking it the first day of your menstrel cycle (thats the first day of bleeding) then you're protected from then on.
You can have unprotected sex under the pill with a 99% chance of not getting pregnant, bear in mind this is only when used correctly. The condom when used correctly is 98% effective. you should be safe with just the pill but remember it doesnt work with antibiotics and if you've been vommiting or had diarriah or if you take it not the same time everyday it will lesson the chances. if you're not sure then use a condom just to be safe. alot of people use both to be extra safe but you're pretty same with the pill AS LONG AS YOU TAKE IT CORRECTLY!
