I am a 35 year old female with Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency. I take steroids to replace lost cortisol. When asking my endocrinologist if it's safe to have this surgery done they just said it was my choice. I want the surgery done because of the chronic steroid usage my peroids are very heavy so bad I can't go anywhere when they start. And these nice steroids are for a life time . I'm wondering what your insight is on this. The adrenal problem comes from the pituiatary in the back of brain just to give an idea of what I'm going through.
