Newsflash lady... there are millions of women who do drugs during their entire pregnancy and then when breastfeeding and they don't give a f**k about what it does to their child clearly, because they arent the ones on this site feeling bad for doing 1 line... omg thats nothing... and then being shamed for it. 2% gets through to breastmilk. Much like alcohol and certain PRESCRIPTION medication. The oral thrush tablet is dangerous for baby and u can't breastfeed for 48hrs. Let me ask u this, do u drink? I'd like to hear ur opinion on alcohol entering the breast milk and the effect on a child. Just because certain drugs, crystal meth in particular, have a stigma against them, uneducated naive people like u think its worse than the common and socially acceptable drugs like cigarettes and alcohol... but ur wrong! Do u know how methamphetamines originated? The japanese gave it to their troops in the war so they would stay awake and be more alert. Then it progressed and doctors were prescribing it to patients with depression. I'm a health and PE teacher so i know a bit about this sort of thing. U, on the other hand, self admittedly came on here looking for information to help a family member... LOOKING FOR INFO not to give advice on a topic u clearly know nothing about. The older generation like u make me laugh. U think u know everything about everything because u read about it or see it on the news. Wow reading this comment has out my mind to rest. Thank you for your helpful tips on what to do. I know everyone doesn't want to say it out loud because these days we as women mothers get judged for every little thing we do. We're all not perfect! But having advise and educating on what to do... if we have a night on it or whatever really has helped me... Formula is key and also expressing milk out of your system to throw away. So baby is all good and healthy!

How long does hydrocodone stay in your breast milk as well as xanax? Are they safe to take in spaced out small does?

Do laxatives cause problems for my baby if I take them while I breastfeed? Does the medication run through my breastmilk? Could my baby get diarrhea or cramping from the laxatives?
