I don't usually put my 2 cents worth in butt, over the yrs I've experienced a rare hemorrhoid that would usually resolve in a few days, however, ive been dealing with a flare up of the worst hemi thus far and it's been ongoing for 2 weeks. The only thing that is different than normal ...bingo....ive been taking probiotic capsules and only stumbled on this link due to this ongoing pain in my %$$. I definitely think there is a valid link between the two now. And, without any noticeable change in my bowel patterns.
