Hello there

Pressure in the eye is called intraocular pressure and when is higher than normal this condition is called ocular hypertension. Normal eye pressure ranges from 10-21 mm Hg and ocular hypertension is condition in which an eye pressure is greater than 21 mm Hg.

So do you wonder about this only because you are curious or you have been suspecting that you have ocular hypertension? This condition isn’t dangerous by itself and your ocular pressure should be measured at least two times before ophthalmologist can say that you have ocular hypertension. Even then you are observed closely just to prevent glaucoma and only because glaucoma caught in early stage is easier to treat and your vision can be preserved more easily.
