Hi! I have high resting heart rate. I heard that this condition is called Tachycardia. Do you know something about this issue? Is this condition serious? I know that I should see a doctor, but I want to be informed.

Hi! Tachycardia is a too-fast resting heart rate. Some set a rough barrier of more than 100 beats a minute. Some kinds of tachycardia are relatively benign and easily treated. Others are more serious and can be life-threatening. There are two main kinds of tachycardia: supraventricular (which occur in the two upper chambers of the heart) and ventricular (which occur in the two lower chambers). When you check your heart condition you will know how serious is it, and do you need a treatment.
