I had this problem. i will just munch cream crackers whenever i feel the tightness in my throat. i really hate this feeling. the tightness is not only in my throat but in my chest as well.
The Jacob's cream crackers helped me somehow. You might want to try and see whether it helps you as well

I have it too. I've had it every day for about a month. There are some obvious conditions that might cause it (along with a lot of other symptoms) and they're easy to diagnose -- hyatal hernia, for instance.
Other suggestions have been made and if the sensations are unpleasant enough, it's worth trying all of them, one after the other. If they work -- fine.
If they don't, it may be one of burdens we have to carry for a while. I mean, stress may have something to do with it. It probably does. But some stressors don't go away, like old age, another long-term medical condition, or problems of poverty.
I know we all want a simple and fast cure for the sensations, and nobody wants to hear that the sensations may come and go without our having much control over them. But the human body is a complicated thing. And when it gets off base, we just don't have all the answers. I know I don't, and I have a PhD in clinical psychology.
I wish all of us the best of luck.

Wow, shaking your leg and too much computer, that is me. Is this really the trigger of empty stomach feelings and dizzyness?

I have the same thing. I could have written this! I'm seriously beginning to think it's brought on by stress. I feel like I have air in my stomach, it pushes up to my throat, and I feel that empty feeling that everyone is saying they have. I've wondered if it's an ulcer, if it's candida, if it's IBS, or perimenopause. I think all this trying to figure it out is the problem! Lol. At least we're all in it together!
