I'm 12 years old and I weigh 176lbs if not more... I've been trying to lose weight by not eating much, and slightly starving myself. I also tried exercising but it didn't work. I found out that in October my family and a few more people are going on a Holiday to Portuguese and I really need to lose weight. That's 10 months away. I don't know if that's enough time to lose weight but I really need help. My friends keep telling me I'm skinny, but I know they're lying. It's really getting annoying knowing that you're fat and people are telling you that you're not. I'd really appreciate if I could get some tips.

Hello, I had this same problem when I was 10. All I did was not eat as much, and eat alot of foods low in carbohydrate. And I exercised around 2 times a week. It should take you a month to loose around 20 pounds.
Also, your friends are really nice! :D
