Hi ! Ok so i am going to be 15 years old in a couple of weeks, im 5'6 and weigh about 140.i excerise A LOT and eat healthy. I would love to loose a couple pounds but how do i do it? Ive strongly considered starving myself, but so many people are telling me not to. How can i loose more weight, but in a healthy way?

You dont need to lose weight, your body mass index is in the average section so you really dont need to lose anything. Your fine how you are.

Hi, its a good thing that you listen to your friends. Do not starve your self!

Starving your self, besides not being healthy, is actually going to make you gain weight. Yes, gain. This is due to the fact that your body / metabolism will go into a "starvation" mode. That is our ancestors program for survival when there is no food. When in this "mode" you metabolism will drastically slow down, and everything you eat will be stored as fat. Yes, you may loose a phew pounds in a month, but once you go back to your normal diet you will regain it quickly plus some more.

According to your height and weight your body mass index is great. But if you want to lose couple of pounds more just exercise more and eat more fruits. Just, don't eat bananas, they are packed with calories. Don't go on any diet, just work out harder, eat more healthy stuff and you will lose weight.
