Why am I picturing Cappy listening to Bon Jovi, waving a lighter above his head in his dark living room while riding his stationary bike?

Short Answer:
1) Yes, one day
2) Time restrictions and scheduling
It's a huge dream of mine
Long Answer:
I would love to sign up and do a triathlon one day. I had started training for one nearly two years ago, but I had other issues to deal with in my life. I gave up tri hopes and decided to marathon train instead. I ran my first marathon in January and will probably go for one more. After that, I really want to set my goals on tri training and give my body a break from all the running.
I'm held back from it because of the time factor...or lack of time. With work, my children, the commute, their activities... I don't know how to factor it all in? I would have to be really in sync with their father to do so and have a good plan.
It's hard for me. I have thought about quitting my gym and joining another one with a pool. Then trying to get out and bike on the days I do not have my kids... I'm torn. The gym I go to is wonderful for my kids and they love it there.
Decisions...decisions...
It's truly my dream.

Good for you and congrats on your marathon!! It's good to have dreams, that's what keeps us going. If it doesn't happen today or tomorrow, don't worry because it will happen soon enough. If you can train for a marathon, you can definitely train for a triathlon.

Thanks for you kind words. Like I've been told many times, all good things can happen if you give it a little time.
I'll have to watch and dream through a bunch of you for now. :D

I'm kind of sort of maybe possibly thinking about potentially planning my midlife crisis for when I'm 40.
Ironman: Lake Placid 2019.

I'll be....65....then??????? :| :| :|

I have been training for quite a while and contemplated a number of Ultra running events and triathlons. But, I can't help thinking about doing some IronMan style events. Thoughts on this, anyone had the same idea?
