how does the iodine treatment make you feel? had a total tt that was maglinant.

I would really like to know the answer to this question too, my close friend had thyroid removed because of, as it turned out, malignant nodules, and she is now waiting to have the Iodine treatment. She had the surgery last week and is now completely off any kind of treatment - she says she doesn't feel any different, so do you know when she will start to feel the lack  of hormones? And how will it affect her?
