My little boy is only 7 years old and he is already diagnosed with a serious condition – ADHD. We only know that he has problems with learning and maintaining the concentration so we need some info regarding this problem. How is concentration disturbed in ADHD? Is this treatable? Are meds really that much necessary?

Medications will help with preventing some further complications. But sometimes, there are cases in which no meds were used, and the improvement still happened and ADHD was gone. Still, it is not something to hope for, proper therapy, meds and sessions should be used in order to deal with this health problem.
