I know this is an old post, I am just trying to possible get answers or help with this. My husband and I  have been wanting a child for 4 yrs now. Two years ago i had an ectopic pregnancy and lost one of my tubes. Now two years later i had a miscarriage. The weird thing is ,is that the last two times i end up losing them both in the same month but two years later. Question is , its weird that it goes every two years. was wondering if anyone else has a similar problem. this every two yrs is very strange and was wondering if it was possible to get pregnant again. its been really hard on me and my husband  losing two. anyone has some answers or helpful information please let me know.

I had my son when i was 17 he was 2 months early. He is now three and is a big healthy boy. In october of 09 i got pregnant again and had a miscarrage 3 weeks later. I started really trying to get pregnant in june of 2010 when i found i was finally preg in october i was so happy a week later i started having really bad pain and bleeding the pregancy was ectopic. I was giving the choice of surgery or shots of methotrexate. I chose methotrexate the pregnancy starting declining with my hormone level. A week later my hormone level started rising again so i was giving another dose of methotrexate. This dose worked my hormone level returned to 0 that was in october of 10 it is now june of 11 im 20 years old, not over weight and really tying hard to have a baby before my son gets to old but i am still not pregnant i have regular periods every month although i used to get cyst when i was ovulating and i have not had a cyst since the ectopic. Is it possible for methotrexate to stop ovulation. I know it is a cancer killing drug so it scares me that it is that strong and i had to get a double dose. my next step is to go to the doctor even though my doctor i seen during my ectopic said i should not have any problem getting pregnant since im young and have no scar tissure.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in July 2009. My right tube ruptured and they had to remove the tube and ovary. I almost bled to death. Needless to say I was devastated. 16 months later I was pregnant again, but had a miscarriage. This was also upsetting, but it gave me hope that I could have another baby. I have a son that is 5 yrs old, he's from my first pregnancy. I would like to have another baby. I am 28 and I have alot of faith. Good luck to all!

Within 1 year an half I have had 3 miscarriages and an Ectopic Pregnancy. with my Ectopic preg, I was having twins but I lost one of the twins with a miscarriage and the other one was in my right Fallopian tube and ruptured it I was bleeding internally  for 4 days at home till i decided to go to the hospital. I did not know I was still pregnant I though when I lost the first one I wasn't pregnant anymore. when they came back with the ultrasound and told me what is wrong they told me I was still pregnant but I am bleeding to death so I had to have emergency surgery. I lost my right tube and lost 900cc of blood that was in my stomach that I was bleeding out and lost more in surgery. My husband and I are newlyweds We have been trying for this past year an half to get pregnant but now it has really scared both of us that we won't ever get a child. My husband has a child with his past relationship but we have custody of him and I am raising him. I love him to death but I dont want anymore but to have my own child, after my surgery I went into a very bad depression and is still dealing with it. I just really hope I can get pregnant again with no problems.
I really and praying for everyone on here that is having problems getting pregnant and hope it happens for you because I know how it feels. GOOD LUCK!!

Hello ladies. This is my story. In january of this year, i was rushed into emerg with severe pains on my left side, only to find out our pregnancy was ectopic and my left tube had ruptured leaving me with massive internal bleeding. I nearly lost my life, had to have blood transfusions, and lost my left side along with the baby. we were told our chances of conception naturally would be difficult, however there were options for us like fertility aids or IVF. we have wanted a baby for a while, and very scared it wouldn't happen naturally. However 3 weeks ago i took a home pregnancy test a day before my period was due, and we got a positive result. 100% natural. we went in for the first Ultrasound yesterday and found out, i am 6 and a half weeks along and the baby is right in the middle of my uterus. we also Got to see and hear the heart beat. My right tube is completely clear, and everything is going SUPER smooth. I wanted to give some of you a little bit of hope. Don't give up. Its not Impossible.

I'm 27 years old and I just had a eptopic pregnancy a week ago. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 5 months. I have a 8 year old son and i'm so grateful for him but we did want a baby of our own. They had to remove my left tube. My doctor said I will have no problem getting pregnant again because my right side is perfect. Losing this baby was very hard but atleast we can try again. My doctor also said as soon as I feel up to it we can try again and should have no problems. So we are hoping to get started in a few day or as soon as I feel okay. good luck to you!

Hi to everyone, I understand what you are all going through. I had an ectopic pregnancy in January 2010 and had my right tube removed on 7th Jan. When it was all happening I constantly kept reading and searching forums like this for pregnancy success stories after an ectopic as I was so desperate for a child and feared that I wouldn't have any children as I was in my mid thirties. It was such a desperate and heartbreaking time and I feel for every one of you going through it, no-one can fully understand the torment and pain involved. The reason I wanted to come back to these forums to leave my message was because my story turned into the complete unexpected and to me a miracle. After my operation in January I never expected to get pregnant, and in the Feb I noticed on my forehead what looked like a brown mark that wasn't there before. Someone said to me that it looked like a pregnancy mask that you can get. I was surprised by this and took a test and expected negative but it was positive! I still actually thought this was some kind of mistake and that I couldn't possibly be pregnant or that the test was positive due to the remaining pregnancy hormones from the ectopic. I went for a scan and as I lay there just waited for the nurse to say "there is nothing there so it must be the pregnancy hormones remaining" but I nearly flew threw the ceiling when instead she said "yes, there is a little sack with a little baby in there!" oh my god, I am crying now as I am typing and I cried and was shaking on that bed in disbelieve when she said "here have a look", my heart just jumped as I seen my baby in the right place and a flicker of a heart beat", I was 5 Weeks pregnant! So, I had conceived within 2 weeks of having my operation. I just couldn't believe it. Although it was a joyous time, it was also a very worrying time as I then feared constantly of miscarriage, my fears where magnified compared to a woman who hadn't experienced all this. But I wanted to come back on to the sites that I used to scan for success stories to give me hope when I was at my lowest time of my life during the ectopic pregnancy, to share my success story with you all. My beautiful baby boy was born on 25 October (on my birthday!) 2010!!! 9 months after my operation!! He was healthy and weighed a whopping 9lb 7oz. He is my miracle and is now 14 months old, walking and trying to talk. I still look at him every day and thank god for such a blessing after such a traumatic time. Everyone has been amazed at my story and I want you all to please don't despair and know that it's absolutely possible to have a baby afterwards, I even remember just before I had my operation I was sobbing my heart out in the hospital in front of my family, nurses and even the cleaners where comforting me as I cried saying that I would never have children after this. If anyone would gave told me that in only 9 months time I would gave a perfectly healthy beautiful baby boy, I think I would have thought they were crazy! I hope my story gives some cheer and hope to anyone suffering as I did. I said to myself after my son was born that I would come back on to give hope and encouragement and I hope it does. I wish everyone love through such a sad time and a prayer for you all to achieve your dreams and happiness xxx Lots of love Raquel x

I HAD AN EPTOPIC PREGNANY IN AUGUST 2008, THEY REMOVED THE BABY AND CUT OUT THE TUBE. THEN I PURPOSELY GOT PREGNANT 4 AND A HALF MONTHS LATER. I HAD A GOOD PREGNANCY AND HAD A LITTLE GIRL. SHE IS 2 NOW AND VERY HEALTHY.  WE DID THE CLEAR PLAN EASY OVULATION TESTS AND ONLY HAD SEX WHEN TRYING TO GET PREGNANT.  IT'S SCARY OF COURSE BUT IF YOU WANT THAT CHILD KEEP TRYING.
