I used to run for several miles and do sprints as well. However, recently I have begun to think about 5k runs and would like to start training for it. I wonder if you could help me with some tips regarding the 5K Training Program. Thank you for your help.

5k is a nice run. Not too long yet not a sprint either. Many people like it and consider it a favorite race. You should start easily. Begin with 3k and then gradually work up to 5k regardless of speed. After you can run 5k comfortably, then you can focus on speed. You can include intervals since they are good way to increase your overall form, fitness, endurance and speed.
