Hello, I am 27 years old and I have been suffering from asthma for the better part of my life. And it looks like I will have to add another long-term condition to my list; it seems that I am allergic to sulfites. How can I avoid those? It seems like they are in almost every food product in the store…

Well, it looks like you will have to do a lot of label analyzing each time you are in the store, if you want to avoid the allergic reaction. And you should also know that different types of food contain different sulfites values. Perhaps you can eat food with less than 10ppm of sulfites, such as soft drinks, coconut, frozen pizza, fresh fruit salads, grapes… I guess you can eat fresh veggies and fruits too.
