how to beat afrin nasal addiction

I am using drixoral no drip for the past 6 months and I hate this addiction so bad and want to quit more than I did when I quit smoking! Any advice?

So much of the same thing here. I just searched something like this and this came up. I am on my very first day without it. I have been using Afrin for over 20 years. I started to use Flonase at the same time because the Afrin did not work the same as it used to. I recently got a sinus infection, and that is somehow a saving grace. My doctor said that the Afrin might keep the infection going and not to use the Flonase, either. So, I am on taking Sudafed and Claritin and will be getting on steroids tomorrow- along with an antibiotic. I noticed that when my nose was running tonight, it felt good. It is time for this to end. Afrin be damned!

Also, I am turning 52 in a few days. I will celebrate 14 years clean and sober around the same day and have lost about 75 pounds in the last year or so. I recently gave up vaping, which I was doing for around 6 months, and now it is time for the Afrin. This phase of my life is moving forward! Thanks for listening.
