hey I'm 15 and my best friend and I have been told (by a doctor) that we have an hormonal imbalance .. he didn't really go into detail of what it is or what to do about it... we want to know how to fix it as we were told it could make us infertile later in life.

This is really unfair from the doctor. You both are young and your parents should’ve been there with you. You should talk to your parents first and then together to see a doctor again and see what can be done to fix this. Doctor should tell more details to the patient regarding his condition.
First you need to find out what hormone is unbalanced and then you will know that gland is not functioning properly. After you know this the treatment should be chosen.
What test did doctor do to know that you are having hormonal imbalance? Was this some regular check up or you both have more medical problems.
