Next Friday I will go to surgery. I have a hip fracture and now I want to prepare for this. I would like to know what I can expect. I’m a little worried because I can not imagine to lying in bad for a long time. Can somebody tell me how to move after hip fracture?

After surgery, you need to listen you therapist. He or she will explain you everything that you need to know. You will need the help of a walking aid like a cane, walker or crutches. Probably you will get up with the therapist within a day following surgery. Good luck!
