i got pregnant on depo provera can this hurt my baby

I'm in the same situation. I think I may be pregnant after using Depo. While I was on Depo, it messed with my hormones all over the place. I was menstruating every day for two months, my hormones rose and then fell drastically and I was so very depressed for the three months I was on that birth control.

My husband and I wanted to wait a while before having our first baby, but now I think I might be pregnant. I took three at home pregnancy tests over the course of two months and all of them have read negative, however I'm having ALL the physical signs of pregnancy.

I even went to the doctor and they did a urine test, but that also read negative.

However, they told me that Depo can sometimes cause a hormonal imbalance so grand that I might be pregnant and still read negative. What do I do?

Has any body been on the depo for a year and has had sex and got pregnant? Its been like 2-3 weeks since it happened and now I'm having all pregnancy symptoms? And the doctors NEVER gives me a pregnancy test before I have the shot :S

Hi, I think I may be pregnant and I'm on the depo as well. My next injections due and I'm scared in case I am and it affects the baby?. I have done some tests and I've only had faint lines so don't know if I actually am :/

_[removed]_ke1995 a faint line is a for sure line your preggo..Now my story i had a medical abortion October 21 i was 7 wks. i started on the depo shot and my body most have rejected it because im 10 weeks. As anyone could imagine im so confused and The guy im dating totally upset thinks i did it on purpose. depo shot really sucks im the 4th person i kno i got pregnant on this shot. This baby with no doubt we're raising.

 

Hi, im 20 yrs old. I got my depo shot in janurary. I had missed it by 3 eeks and the lady at the desk said i would need a failure restart and a pregnancy test. Well when i went in the back and was waiting the lady came in and gave me my shot and left. I sat and waited for the pregnancy test but they sent me home. Three days ago i took my own pregnancy test due to very bad nausea. Come to find out im pregnat! Not sure how far along yet. What do i do? Do i have a lawsuit on my hands? PLEASE HELP! 

so have the depo shots doctors been giving not effective. I've been on the shot almost 2 1/2 years and so far it seems to work but recently i having pregnancy syptoms. Like yesterday my future husband was rubbing his hand over my stomach like the always does but last night it felt like butterflies was moving around. But today while i was at work i felt the same thing. I've been exprencing lower back aches, tender breast, cramping like i would start my period but not starting, was having weird craving the other week, and smelling weird things that isn't there. took a couple of hpt but neg but if you are to far won't tell

I was thinking that just the other day... I've been on depo two and a half years and never have had symptoms like this (extreme nausea, cramping, spotting, increased cm, breast pain, moodiness, and gum bleeding like nobody's business). In all honesty, up until now I didnt even know what cm was... that's how new this all is haha. I'm due for my injection but just started to switch to the pill for weight loss instead. All my symptoms began about two weeks to a week before switching so I don't think that's what's doing it, but everyone else seems sure. Sometimes you just have that instinct, you know? I've been reading around and apparently a majority of women (not all) seem to conceive in the third month of the injection as it starts to wear off. I've heard weight loss and long term usage of depo can reduce the effectiveness, but to my knowledge this has not been proven.

I got on the shot a few weeks ago, and I had started my period the day before (or so I thought) and it was done the day after I got the shot. My boyfriend and I started having unprotected sex a lot, just a couple days after I got the shot. A few days ago I started spotting, which my mom said was normal. She said when you're on the shot you spot when it's time for your period, but i wouldn't even be close. I also have been having all the symptoms of pregnancy, such as nausea, tiredness, cramping in my lower abdomen, and just about everything else. But when i bring up the possibility to people they say it's impossible and very unlikely. So i feel like I'm going crazy! How likely is it that I'm pregnant?

i was on the depo shot when i was a month along. my daughter now has hearing problems. shes had tubes twice now. shes got speech problems. shes got bad teeth. shes had 5 surgeries already and shes only 5. shes been in the hosp once for a bad infection. could all these things wrong with her be part of the shot. no dr says i should of kept her i should of miscarried and i found out through my daughters dads grandparents i could of been pg with twins when i had my shot. i was showin signs of bein pg but place i got my shot through did pg test and it was neg and didn't do anything else for testing for it. found out 2 months later i was 3 months along with pregnancy. i had her july of 2008 and she was on time born right on due date. someone please help i dnt know wat to do with all the health problems shes havin whether or not its from the shot. can anyone answer it for me.

hi i have been using the depo for 4 years then stoped using for a year. im 3 months into my injection but feel pregnant, and if i am then i might be three months preg can this harm the baby, im spotting almost everyday. but my belly is becoming big and so are my breast my skin is becoming lighter,and i get pains in my stomach sometimes feel like theres kicks. can i be pregnant?

Hey im 16 and me and my bf had sex 3 days ago i've had a misscaridge and my doctor said it was early stages of pregnacy. would this hurt my baby or should i be fine i just dont wanna lose another kid

I got my depo in December also and had sex with my boyfriend the next day... today I started bleeding but I thought it was just my period but I didn't have one last month... well tonight I went to the bathroom and something came out... I miscarried... didn't know I was pregnant could the depo have caused this??
