Today at school I was hanging out with some of my friends as I always do, we were joking around laughing and making fun of each other as we always do. But I guess one of the people in my group was having a bad day and wasn't up for being made fun of in a jokingly way and he ended up pushing me. It didn't hurt to bad but it did kinda made me stumble on my feet a little. More than anything I was shocked because I have never had a guy push me in a anger mad at me type of way. Mean while my friend from across the room say this happening and he came over and pushed the kid back, hard enough that he fell on the floor. The teacher came over and asked what was going on and why he just pushed this kid down onto the ground. And he said "I saw him push a girl and I didn't like it." At this time I was in shock of what was happening. The teacher told the two boys to stay after class and that is as far as the situation got. I was happy that I had a friend sticking up for me, but I am not sure it was necessary. Don't get me wrong I think guys hitting girls is wrong and same goes for girls hitting guys.

It's understandable how you could be caught off guard, but the ego of the teen-aged boy is only second to the teen-aged girl in getting bruised easily.
You might have concidered staying after school to explain to the teacher the circumstances, and perhaps it might have been moderated some, but your reluctance is understandable also.
Finally, it's not cool for either sex to be pushing the other around, and you and your friends may want to cool it as feelings are running high and people are getitng hurt.

I totally agree with you on neither sex should be pushing each other around, and I don't want to make this seem like the basic guy beating up girl situation, because it can happen with guys too.
I also agree that we should cool it also, because even though we are friends are joking mean things can still hurt, and I am going to try harder to fix that part in me.
