I had a medical abortion and 2 months later im still testing positive

My period is 13 days late, I had the abortion because of health reasons
I'm really careful with protection

After 2 months my period isn't regular and i did a Home pregnancy test
It came out positive


I went to my follow up check up. I was clear

Thats why I am wondering

After 2 months, is it normal to test positive?
Because of the hormone levels ? ?
