I am 21 years old and sexual active. I have been on Yasmin for almost 2 pills now, and have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend with no pregnancy. Ever since I started the pill, my period has been like clockwork. Always on a Thursday morning. However, this time on Friday afternoon, I started a dark brown discharge, with very minimal amounts of red. My period has always been extremely light, but not even a tampon has been needed. Even a small liner only gets a small amount of dark brown on it. My cramps have been later than usual as well. I have no signs of pregnancy as far as I can tell. What could be causing this? It's the weekend I usually get my period. It's just very light and dark brown.
