This seems a bit odd because I feel like I should know since I used to have irregular periods when I was a young teen but I can't quite remember. My periods have been normal, starting on the 8th or 9th and lasting around a week. However, last month my period came a week early and only lasted three days.

Now I am wondering if I had my period a week early would I get my period the same day again next month rather than on the 8th or 9th as usual?

My fiance and I are trying to get pregnant and I did take a test not long after my shorter period but it was negative. Now I am waiting until the time I typically get my period to test again. I want to know if my period would start again this month the same day it did last month even though that one was early because if it did then I am three days late.
