I have some labia problems

so ive been real paranoid about std's since i had a couple different partners recently.. a little over a month ago i noticed my labia was swollen, shiny, red and itchy so i went to a doctor to have a look at it and she said its most like just a yeast infection or iritation from tight clothes.. she told me to not wear underwear to bed and use soaps without fragrance.. i followed her advise and it went away so i didnt bother calling in for the results of the swabs they took, i assume if i was positive they wouldve called me anyway. but now a month later after seeing the doc, i was with someone new, and it looks like i have the same rash again! ive still been following her advise, except now i can see red lifts/bumps under the skin and one side is extremely swollen. its only really itchy at night, when i leave it alone it doesnt bother me, theres no abnormal discharge or pain so i dont know if im just being paranoid still or if i should go back to the doctor and get another exam done.
