Well I am writing because I'm really confused...I'm 21 years old and was pregnant twice before, but had 2 abortions...Both those times i had implantation bleeding. I was just wondering I have the same thing but closer to my period and this is the second day I have it...Small spotting of brownish/pinkish discharge. I went to the bathroom right now and for the first time i could see a couple red spots in the urine. Before going to the bathroom right now I never had blood drops in the urine, jus some pinkish brown when i wiped and on my panty.. I'm just wondering if I am pregnant or not. Can you get a few drops of blood in the urine? or is that just me getting my period early? I think bleeding implantation is without any drops in urine only on panty and or when you wipe.. I would like to know a.s.a.p Thx~

I am similar to you, I am 24 and have had 3 abortions. I also work in a clinic =)

I have never personally had implantation bleeding, but do know that there are some women who do have it. Blood in urine can be a sign of a urinary tract infection, but I do not think that is what you mean exactly...

Because you have had implantation bleeding in the past , I would think that the bleeding could be implantation related.

It may be a good idea to test for pregnancy. You could start as early as 5 days before a period.

If there is a bit of blood IN your urine, or as a result from urinating you may have a urine infection.Do you have any discomfort while you urinate.
Implantation spotting and ovulation spotting is blood that comes from your vagina, but is so little that you only notice it whilst wiping.

just a suggestion.

As a supporter of pro-choice I am not going to comment that you are killing, but will say that you are not acting very responsibly. Abortion is a very serious decision, and to make it multiple times... well, please please please look into birth control...

I understand why people get abortions, but you would think they would learn from their "mistakes". Abortion is not a form of birth control, try using some form on contraception to prevent pregnancy in the first place. I'm not religious, but I do believe from a scientific standpoint that life begins at conception, and I'm smart enough to realize that the only way to prevent abortions is from preventing pregnancy, and the best way to do that is a comprehensive sex education. Please please please, start making better decisions. And for the original poster... take a pregnancy test, that is the only way to know for sure. And try to prevent the wondering if your pregnant or not in the first place by using the pill or condoms.

I came upon this post on accident, but am amazed that there are two of you so young and comfortable with abortion. You both are using it as birth control - NEVER the intention. I have some advice, especially you who has had three AND work in a clinic. Have a doctor write you a prescription for BIRTH CONTROL! If you are responsible for sex, you should be responsible enough to protect yourself. Your actions have consequences, and you both are so flip about having the abortions.

Ok ppl dont go making judgments until you know the whole truth. She said she had 2 abortions, but were these 2 abortions elective. I am a labor nurse and it is possible to have a spontaneous abortion. Do a little research before you go preaching. If it was elective, then I'm wrong to defend. She came on here for help, not a lecture.

Hi:
Please don't use abortion as a method of birth control. This is such risky behavior. The long term emotional and physical affects can be devastating. I am curious as to why you have chosen not to use birth control pills, shots, etc. The abortion experience can't be pleasant experience for you. Why abortions? Are you living in a constant fear of pregnancy? That can't be good. I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this. I just don't understand it. What are the reasons...I will wait to hear some of the replies.

You really shouldn't use abortion as a form of birth control. Nor is it anything to be proud of. Please get on birth control its cheaper, safer and you don't have to take lives.

A spontaneous abortion is another name for a miscarriage. Its a totally different thing then actually having an abortion. Working as a labor nurse you should know this. I am absolutely pro choice, but holy god, 3???

I was actually looking up "bleeding the week before your period," and this weird preachy, promiscuous thread came up as the second link. It's not what I was looking for, nor is it something that I want to read about. I am NOT pro-choice--I believe in the right of every woman to have control over her body. However, I find the first two posts ironic, in that both girls had multiple abortions, one worked in an abortion clinic (the crudeness and moral dilemma around free or discounted abortions--which I assume she's having--is mindblowing), and that abortion could be written about so lightly, almost jokingly.

A message to the staunch pro-lifers: You can't change a person's point of view because you are so militant, yourself. Put yourself in their shoes.

Birth control works. Been on it for over 3 years, am married, and do not use condoms. If you're having sex, please be responsible.
