My secret to weight loss is play and have fun exercising. Whether you run,jump rope,skip, jog,swim,dance,twirl in circles and see who is the whirling derbish winner of a twirling contest. Exercise is the answer, along with eating food that we may not always eat, or have time to prepare. For example, broccoli or mixed veggies for dinner with a bit of olive oil and some seasonings, and some chicken nuggets low in fat, like the Dinasaur brand in the frozen section of most stores. Also eat wheat bread with every dinner meal, and drink milk too, it's good for you. Breakfast is very important for growing tall and healthy. I eat cereal and light milk with banana, or light yogurt with cereal topping and banana and sweetner on top. Then a nutrition bar mid morning with some juice or healthy drink such as a V8 veggy cocktail. Lunch too is important. I usually have a lite yogurt and celery with extra crunchy peanut butter, and a V8 cocktail, or grape juice. But, remember to exercise during the week. Even walking with a sibling or friend after school for 30 minutes at first and then work up to walking an hour about every other afternoon. Don't forget to do your homework after schoo too. Some people forget that when they are so focused on exercising. When I was a early teen, I had a weekly paper route, and also participated in swimming and gymnastics and roller dance lessons. I was always very busy, and eventually chose only to swim as my main way of keeping in shape. It worked too. But it doesn't happen over nite. First you must be excited/motivated about becoming healthy, and desire to exercise and eat right to lose weight and feel better about the new you. Good Luck to everyone.....
