There isnt anything that is a deffinant cause of a throat infection.
You can be more prone to getting them, espacially if your toncils are on the large side.
Your toncils are there to collect bugs an stop infections, but in doing that they get infected easy. (thats how my doctor explained it to me)
My daughter use to get a lot of throat infections. She had her toncils out at the age of 12. its better now
When ever she is feel off colour of very tied she gets a sore throat. I think its one of her week spot.
