Hi there, if you're talking about microcracks in the femur, you're probably talking about hairline fractures. That's when the bone is broken but not significantly enough so that you can't function. I can tell you that it does need to be cast because it will need time to heal, and that a hairline fracture can become worse if you don't get it treated. Do you have this?
