I have constant sinus infections and smelling of urine is my clue that I have another one. Go to an ear, nose and throat specialist to see if you have an infection.

Ok, I'm not alone in this. I smell urine and thought it was my dog having accidents but I smell urine in my nose everywhere, even outside. I will look into suggestions here. Thanks all. I hope that no one on this thread finds that they have kidney damage of any kind. Let's get this checked out.

Hi, guest.

Here are a few possible causes and treatment options for a persistent smell of urine:

1. Sinus infection or sinusitis: A sinus infection can cause a variety of symptoms, including a distorted sense of smell or a persistent smell in the nose. Treatment may involve antibiotics, nasal decongestants, nasal saline rinses, or other medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

2. Neurological conditions: Certain neurological conditions, such as olfactory hallucinations or phantosmia, can cause a distorted sense of smell, including the perception of a persistent smell of urine. Treating the underlying neurological condition may help alleviate the symptom.

3. Nasal polyps: Nasal polyps are noncancerous growths that can develop in the lining of the nose or sinuses. They can cause a variety of symptoms, including a distorted sense of smell. Treatment options may include medication to reduce inflammation, nasal sprays, or surgical removal of the polyps in severe cases.

4. Other causes: There can be other potential causes for a persistent smell of urine, such as metabolic conditions or certain medications. Treatment will depend on the specific underlying cause identified by a doctor.

Hope you'll get your diagnosis soon.
