i am diabetic

Hi Ijah,

Basically, our bodies uses glucose (a sugar) as fuel.  The pancreas makes insulin which helps move this glucose from your blood into your muscles and cells so it can be used.  Your body has trouble making use of sugar.

Are you taking insulin?

It's important for you to control your diabetes, by watching your diet and testing your blood sugar.  There is a fairly narrow range where the level should be.  If you go too low you may pass out or even die.  If it gets too high, for a long period, it can damage blood vessels - including those in the eyes.

These are the basics.  Do you have specific questions?
