Hi everybody,
This will be my first post on this website, I hope someone can help. This will be my second pregnancy (hopefully the first term one). My first pregnancy at about 7 weeks the doctors did an ultrasound and it showed that the heartbeat of the baby had stoped. So they ended up having to do a D&C. I had a very hard time with all of that (in and out of the emergency room after the surgury) ugh it was hard. So I took a 2 pregnancy tests this weekend and they both came out positive. And I know that I should be about 7 to 8 weeks along (since I my first day of my last period was on January 11). Yesterday I called my doctors office, which I have been to before many times, and they said that the lady who takes prenatal appoinments is on the schools schedual so she is off ALL week for spring break. Finally I got a hold of her and she asked me a couple of questions about insurance and stuff and said she would call me back tomorrow (today) with an appoinment. Ok whatever that was fine then. Well today I am at work untill 1:30 and I just went to the restroom and I saw that I was bleeding when I wiped... it was light red and like watery. I went again a little later and there was nothing. So I dont know what to do. I called the doctors and left the "prenatal coordinator" another message teller her this and that i was concerned and to call me back with an appoinment asap. I am very scared. Although in my last pregnancy I had no sign of miscarage (bleeding or cramps) but it happened. This time I just feel a little discomfort in my lower abdomonal on the right side sometimes the left like a 2 from a 1-10 scale 1 being the least amount of pain 10 being the most. I really am scared I want everything to be ok so bad. Please let me know if any of you can help. Thank you so so much. :? :(

Some light bleeding in early pregnancy with little cramping is normal its from all the stretching going on in there anyways as long as its only when u wipe its ok but if it gets heavier or the cramping is worse than period cramps or u feel faint or dizzy go to the Emergency room. Studies show that anywhere from 20-30% of women experience some degree of bleeding in early pregnancy. Approximately half of pregnant women who bleed do not have miscarriages. Approximately 15-20% of all pregnancies result in a miscarriage, and the majority occur during the first 12 weeks
