Hello, I am 26 year old male and I had a question about something.
I went to sleep last night and woke up early his AM. However I was barely able to move, my body felt like a ton of bricks. In addition I still felt extremely tired even though I slept for a good 8 hours or so.
Still I was unable to stay awake and fell right back to sleep, I woke up again about 6 hours later! I was just as tired as before and my body just as heavy but I managed to forced myself out of bed.
Since I've been up though I've started feeling worse and worse, I'm dizzy, hungry but can't eat (though I forced down some juice and pretzels), my joints are aching like crazy, I feel constipated and I've been experiencing the chills every now and then.
This is really unlike me, I felt fine when I went to sleep last night. The only thing I can think of is I didn't eat much last night, but would it be having this big of an affect on me like this today?
I don't have any medical conditions that I'm aware of.
Hope someone can help me to understand what's going on :-(
Thanks for your time.

My mother had one when she was about your age, and from what she described what you're going through sounds like that... but then again she wouldn't say much about it, so I could be wrong.
