I'm a bit concerned that I might be pregnant again by the same father to my 4 month old son born 21st April, I had unprotected sex on the 17th August 2012 and the next day ignorantly believed that if I toke the normal pill even though was not regularly using it that it would stop me getting pregnant. My period was due on Sunday 26th but there is nothing and wondering how long I should leave it before testing to see if I am?

The timing wouldn't favor you getting pregnant, but it is possible. Usually having sex within 10 days of your period it is unlikely you'd get pregnant.
Normally you'd ovulate between days 11-16 of your cycle. After 48 hours, the egg isn't viable, or about day 18. Normally you'd run about a 28 day cycle.
Wait at least 2 weeks, preferably three, after having sex to test. If no period by then, see your doctor.
