Hi, I had impinged nerve couple of times. Once the pain started going through my arm, and I thought that I was having a heart attack. It was the worst experience ever! All activities were only making my impinged nerve worse, and it was very hard to walk more than 10 minutes. A doctor told me to rest and to limit all activities. Beside that, I used some over-the-counter painkillers and after several days, I felt that my pain slowly relieving. The second time when I had impinged nerve, I thought that it was in my neck as before, but it turned out that it was in my lower back. The symptoms of impinged nerve in lower back were very similar to impinged nerve in neck, and I could hardly tell the difference.

Hi, I am currently suffering with an impinged nerve in the c6 region it is very uncomfortable and painfull through the shoulder, down the arm and into the fingers. several treatments with a chiropractor, acupuncture and medication saw no changes. A CT scan resulted in the decision to perform a CT guided nerve root sheath injection, which is basically a steroid injected into the effected nerve root. It is now day 5 and I am experiencing some small relief but not much, looks like I will just have to give it time to heal and be careful with what I do for a while, hears hoping.
