Well if it's not placed properly, it may not prevent pregnancy. The chance of getting pregnant is less than 1 pregnancy per 100 women on the Implanon if it's not inserted properly. So yes, it is 1% possible. Maybe you could do the pregnancy test just to make sure. But make sure that you don't do it too early. Good luck.
