Hi, my son had an accident and in emergency they performed RTG filming. There were no broken bones but he has non-displaced incomplete fracture of the right mandibular condyle. Could this be from earlier?

Hi, it could be from earlier, but still it could also be a new injury. I had injury of mandibular condyle. The supernumery tooth on the right side was in the ramus of mandible. Doctor was confused because the clinical examination did not reveal any disorders. I could perform everything just like before. A further radiograph was needed to get a precise diagnose. After differential diagnosis I was said it could be a supernumery tooth or odontoma. I guess if your injury was from earlier you would have noticed it by now.
