im a 26 yr old woman with a swollen and enlarged right nipple. It shrivels up and looks like a orange peel. It shoots sharp pains that feel like a needle trying to push its way out the nipple. Its hot to touch most days and sometimes looks like my breast is suffocating, and also gives dark coloured lines that i think are veins around my nipple. I must where a bra if i dont my breast hangs and feels like heavy pressure. This has been happening for a year it comes and goes but lately its always there and lately its been causing strain around my armpit and in my arm. Doctors keep putting me on amoxycillin. Its not working and they tell me im to young for breast cancer and i dont qualify for a free screening. As they are quite expensive and i cant afford one. They say it might be a cyst???? But theres no puss. Please help

I'm annoyed that the doctor is taking no notice of this, anyone can get breast cancer, nobody is too young, it maybe rare in younger people but it happens. Is there anyway you can ask for a second opinion from a different doctor? I know some places around the world are awkward in the treatment that they offer, where are you living?
It could be that you have a breast abscess and you may need something stronger than amoxycillin.
Even if you can't see another doctor, ask the doctor you have been seeing if he will prescribe something else to try instead.
