If you need to get rid of an ingrown hair, apply a warm compress twice a day to the area, gently exfoliate the area twice a day with a wash cloth to remove excess dirt or oil. You can add a dab of acne medicine on it to dry it up or a mix of baking soda and water to make a paste. If it comes to a head (which p***y top) you can try and pop it with some tweezers and let the hair out. If not let it be until you actually see the hair because trying to penis it out will cause trauma and inflammation. Have patience!

Ok so ive just seen this, know its a year old but someone might need this.
Ok so I have Fordyce spots and after having a pretty wild night with my gf (protect) I came up with one of these. Probably the third time ive had it in my life, always comes after a big night. Im 28.
So here goes. Essentially ive established that there is two membranes that need to be "broken" so this advice comes in two phases. Phase 1. Wait a day after it comes up (it will be sensitive). When you can see the sebum close to the skin, get a sterile needle and make a tiny hole and squeeze it until blood comes out then stop. That is the first pocket taken care of (make sure you keep it clean etc)
Phase 2. You'll probably notice that there is still a lump a day after under the initial pocket. This is where the benign hair folicle is. So wait two days after the first hole at least and it should be sensitive again. Have a hot shower a put a hot towel on it. This will supple the skin up. You can then, if youve waited long enough, squeeze the lump (or sterile needle) and more sebum but quite a bit of blood will come out. Thats the second pocket taken care of. Use a sterile wipe, clean it up. Jobs a good'un.

Yeah, i have the same as all y'all. There like sorta pointless unpoppable pimples except for some that i have popped but just a lil puss comes out although i do notice most of these bumps did have small microsized hairs on em which i eventually plucked out with tweezers however the bumps remain there still. I had a few of these but I knew what they were. I got them after shaving. but a few months ago one was a bit big. I normally wait and they go but this one got bigger intill it was like a large red spot. I saw ur comment and cleaned a razor. then I made a small cut on the spot. only blood came out. I cut deeper and deeper. only into the spot. then I notice a little folded hair poking out so I pulled it untill it was only the base of the hair left inside and the hair is four inches long. so I had a large ingrown hair growing deep and it didnt look very good but now I may have a tiny cut or scar but it looks fine now and I only just did it. im on antibiotics for another cut I had anyway so im thinking that will keep any infection under control. thanks man.
