Hi! My mother has peripheral neuropathy. She is 58 years old and she is diabetic. Her problems caused by neuropathy started six months ago. She is suffering from annoying pain and she’s using painkillers. I heard that acupuncture can help with this kind of problems. Does anybody know is acupuncture effective for neuropathy?

Yes, of course. Acupuncture can help relieve the pain of neuropathy. I can tell you for sure because my aunt has peripheral neuropathy. She’s taking certain medication for few months but she started to feel better after she began with acupuncture. Your mother might also try reflexology for neuropathy of the legs and feet.
