Last year I was diagnosed with A-Fib. Ever since, I am on some kind a pills with strange names. In the mean time, I had couple more attacks, when my heart rate was 250 bpm. All that time I am on prescribed therapy. Now my doctors want me to start using betapace. Is betapace too strong of a drug?

I suppose that your doctor knows what he/she is doing. Also, I think that, he/she had the good reason for prescribing you betapace. Whether or not it is to strong of a drug, is of no importance. I used it, too, but didnt help. If betapace help you with your a-Fib and decrease yours heart rate, that it is a good medication for you. Of course, you can always talk this over with your cardiologist.
