What do think - it is better to run up hill?
I assume this burn burns more calories.. but I also feel more tiredness in my calves while running uphill.
Also, what goes up - must come down ;) I also run downhill - I heard it is bad for the knees...

Any suggestions on the topic.. what do you think?

I dislike both options and prefer flat surface. Running downhill annoys as it gives me false spring and uphill tires me way too much which further leads to losing desire to run some more.

When running on flat surface, I find my energy within myself and I push as hard as I can and this is what satisfies me.

yeah... downhill can be annoying... but uphill (comparing to flat surface) is much harder for the body. I have noticed however that I do start to feel pain in my calves and I hate that.. didn't use to have this problem, but was running on softer surface at that time (I run on the street now... cos it is all wet and slipery in the wood :(
