It being winter and all, I haven't shaved in a while. I finally decided to a couple days ago. Then the very next day I notice I'm kinda itchy down there. Upon investigation I find a single small blister on the outside of my labia, lined up right where the hair is growing. Then the day after, the blister ruptured and now there is this flat little red sore. It hurts when i touch it but it's not TOO painful, just annoying & uncomfortable. At this point I'm a little freaked out because what if its herpes?! I looked up the symptoms and I am feeling healthy and well, no swollen lymph nodes, and no painful urination. There is just a slight odor. It also doesn't resemble the herpes pictures I looked up. I have not had sex in a couple months, but could this be an outbreak that waited forever to show up?!
I've had a bad bad case of folliculitis before, accompanied with even worse cervix and urinary tract infections. The sore looks similar to what I remember when I had folliculitis, but I'm still very unsure. Is this because being caused by irritation from shaving?? Or is it herpes?? I've been reading up on this like cray cray and I'm getting so many different answers.

Hi, I would go get checked out at the doctor as it may need antibiotic treatment, I have done a stick bit of research and without actually seeing what it looks like it could be folliculitis if it formed a puss filled head before it burst or herpes if the blisters weep clear or yellow fluid.
