I recently underwent fistulectomy and proctosigmoidoscopy, which left me with an open wound. I am on antibiotics and I am very frantic on the things that i should do and should not be doing..Please help

Certain antibiotics interact badly with alcohol. This is why you should always consult your doctor or pharmacist before mixing antibiotics with alcohol. In general, however, I can say for sure that if you have an open wound, it is probably best to avoid drinking. You don't want to do anything that weakens your immune system right now. Just wait until you heal and then have a drink or several. This is safer. :)
Smoking delays healing times as well, for sure. I am not sure if nicotine and antibiotics interact in any way, but again, ask your healthcare provider.
