I know this may sound stupid but IM just wondering if I can eat an apple after the gym? I usually go to the gym in the evening after I have had dinner. I don't usually get back from the gym until 8 or so. I ve just heard so many things that even an apple to screw things up!. Sorry for the weird question. Thank you

an apple wont do you any harm, i guess it depends on what you are trying to achieve, but you have nothing to worry about. try primehealthdirect and ask for their nutritionist, very helpful, may be able to offer better advice. helped me!

Eating on apple after workout definitely will not do you any harm, in fact, the case might just be the opposite. Your body loses energy, water and nutrients when you exercise, so if you just sleep overnight and don’t eat anything before breakfast, you might be unnecessarily making yourself even more dehydrated and tired after workout.
The truth is that you obviously shouldn’t eat a large meal immediately after workout and it’s also true that when you are aiming to lose weight you shouldn’t eat after 8p.m, but since you are being physically active, your body will use the food you eat after workout. A granola or protein bar, banana or an apple are quite good choices for foods to eat after the workout.
