Is it possible to get STD even without sexual intercourse?
I have a bump on my labia minora.
Im 22 and female.. I never had any sexual intercourse just self-pleasuring acts(fingering and the thing you do with the clitoris). Its normal for me to have pimples on my labia majora but last week, a day before my menstrual visit) I noticed something on my labia minora(left). I thought it was just another pimple. But after 2 days, it get bigger(it didn't look like a pimple anymore, and it feels like a cyst) and is painful(stings when soap is applied).. Its really uncomfortable, especially when I wash it.. Sometimes liquid comes out of it, and sometimes blood. Its already 4 days, and my last day of visit. I do not want to put betadine nor alcohol on it because its this special part of the body. I also cant go to the gyne because I don't have money. I had test for STD 5 months ago before I travel for work here overseas, and it came out negative. Anyone give advice on what to do please... Thank you very much.

It sounds like a labial abcess. It's when your pours get blocked and it gets infected. I had one a few years back and I was dumb and tried to pop it, thinking it was an ingrown hair or a pimple. Well apparently attempting to pop them only makes it worse. I had to get it cut open and drained then I was on antibiotics. Since you don't have the money to go to the gyno, try getting scent free soap for washing down there. Also try warm compressions. Wet down a washcloth with warm water and gently push it against the bump. When the cloth cools down use more water, do that for about 15 minutes and 3 times a day. It should help it drain as the warm water will open the pours. Hope this helps!
