Ahhhhhh! The old chutney blow-back (AKA the sweetcorn slop out) I haven't heard about this since I left the navy in 1934. Back then you could here the cries of the newbies , deep below decks, as they received their first involuntary faceful of 'special man mix'. If I concentrate hard I can even smell it all again. I was always thankful that I did not do the laundry. The 'chutney blow-back' is and always will be one of those funny things that you can giggle about with your partner.
