Ok so I have had my period on time nearly every month since I was 10 years old. I am now 18 and my boyfriend and I are getting nervous. I had my normal period in November, then started the pill following that but misplaced it so i had a short period early/mid-December so I would have been due early/mid-January. I possibly could have gotten pregnant Dec 24th. I didn't think much about it. On January 2nd I got a stomach ache, and thought I was getting a cold. This has not improved or gotten worse since then, it is worse in the morning and after i eat. In addition, my boobs have gotten extremely tender, even on my clothes. The next things I noticed a few days after is I got tired walking up the stairs, my pooping/peeing schedule was completely different, and the slightest smell bothers me and all of those are very strange for me. I kept trying to tell myself I was just sick with something. Then January 6th my boobs started getting larger and rounder, and the nipples are sore. Then January 7th I started having spotting, which has never ever happened to me. It is a pinkish color sometimes but usually more brown. It is light and I barely need a liner. Over the past few days, I have been eating strange, sleepy right when I wake up, having weird dreams, gained a few pounds, very moody, and getting headaches. All of these things are not normal for me!! I am not obsessing over it or trying to convince myself any which way, just noticing symptoms. I have taken 3 urine tests so far, (first response) 2 were negative and one had a very faint 2nd line. Only my boyfriend and I know so are afraid to ask questions. Is it too early for the results to be positive? What should our next step be? Don't want to be dumb about it either way, just don't have answers. Thank you so much for any help!!! :)

You need to make sure you do a pregnancy test in the morning (the first wee you have) because there will be more HCG in your wee at that time if you are pregnant. Its not too early to test and if you've got a faint second line on a test you should probably do it again.
