Saw my doctor a couple of months back from the sitting/standing pain in the rectal region along with what feels like vessel pain in my upper thighs and buttocks. He stuck a finger in me and said yup internal hemmorrhoid and "you'll have them for the rest of your life".

I've never had any constipation, never any bleeding, never any problem with bowel movements. I've not strained on the toilet or done anything else other than weight lifting that I could see would cause it. The symptoms have come and gone a few times over the last two months but the last three days the pain is back just like before. I've had to completely give up weight training which I had been religious about for the past year and a half but I got over having to dump that. It didn't help. I'm only doing cardio exercise now 5-6 days a week. Its killed my sex drive. I can't travel because I can't sit in a car for 10 minutes without the pain. Can't go to the movie with my wife, etc. Can't even lay down comfortably.

Everything I read says that internal hemmorrhoids aren't supposed to hurt. Well I hurt. It still doesn't hurt when I have a BM. Just sitting/standing/laying. My diet is good. I eat a ton of oats, fruit, and don't eat junk food. I'm in great physical condition. I'm 30 years old and 163 lbs.

My quality of life has gone downhill so fast and I just can't see wanting to live like this.

Has anyone had internal hemmorrhoids that hurt consistently, haven't ever bled, and aren't bothered at all by BM's?

Saw the same doctor today. Now he thinks its neurological and ordered an MRI to be followed by a colon/rectal specialist visit.
