I would say that it is highly improbable but not impossible.
The flagella (tail) of the sperm is usually only strong enough to carry the sperm cell from the uterus to the fallopian tubes where it meets the egg. The egg is carried down by cilia on the surronding cell walls from the ovaries to the fallopian tubes.
The chances of a single sperm cell surviving a trip outside of the human body like that is very unlikely.
but probably never happened so dnt worry too much.
